I'm soooo ready for Spring, and unfortunately it doesn't seem to be anywhere close by. I am happy to say that I will be in warmer climates next week though!!! It'll be nice to get away from the cold for a while. Although, it will only make it harder to be here then when we come home... Oh well...I'm just looking forward to the warmth!! =)

I have recently been thinking about how much things are changing for me right now. Being a senior gets you thinking on stuff like that I guess. lol. Sometimes its hard to accept the change, but life goes on. The change can be good and bad. I think of how it's great to think that I'm soon going to be on my own and everything, but at the same time that really scares me! I'm so thankful that God never changes and He is always there for me. I can always rely on Him!!!!

Feeling the cold wind against your face, despite the helmet, and the smell of 2-stroke in the air is what I think of when I think of snowmobiling. The other night I was able to go out snowmobiling the first time this year. It had just snowed all day and we (my brothers and sister-in-law) decided to go for a ride. It was later at night at this time, so it was dark and the moon was out and bright. Both my brothers drove while Kim and I were passengers and man was it fun! I loved flying across a field going really fast, but I also enjoyed going through the woods and seeing the snow laying so gently on the trees. It makes for a beautiful sight!
Snowmobiling has to be one of my favorite things about winter and I can't wait to get on another ride again, hopefully soon!

Basketball has started and we've had a few games already. The other night it was the third quarter and we were up by a good amount of points. I had a fast break and was close to the basket when I passed the ball out to a teammate to go in for the lay-up. As I came down from jumping I landed on a girl's foot from the other team and rolled my ankle. It was one of the worst feelings I've ever felt...I sat out the rest of the game icing it, only to wake up the next morning to a swollen, black, and blue ankle. It looks worse then it feels really. Thankfully we have Christmas break here soon so I won't be missing really any games. (other then a couple) That I'm very thankful for, but I wish this didn't happen at all.
I'm really excited for this basketball season, as we have a good team and a lot of potential!

This has to be one of my most favorite times of the year! It is for most people I guess...Listening to the Christmas music, buying gifts for loved ones, getting out of school, and I could go on. =) It's easy to get caught up in excitement and busyness of Christmas though only to forget why we celebrate Christmas. One way that helps remind others of the real, true meaning is the Live Nativity. The Live Nativity is a reenactment of the Christmas story with real animals, singing, and a pretty real setting. It's a lot of fun and really does remind people of what Christmas is really about; Jesus' birth. We have hundreds of people come out to it. I guess you could say it's a big hit!
I can't believe that Christmas is only 17 days away...it's going to be here before we know it!! I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!
